MiraPx (mirapx.com) is a work-in-progress web project by a Finnish natural person. These terms set out the conditions that apply when you use the MiraPx websites, including public pages and restricted development or infrastructure pages. In these terms, “MiraPx” refers to the project and the person operating it.

MiraPx currently provides only these websites. The MiraPx Editor and any other unreleased services are not covered by these terms. Separate or updated terms may apply if such services become available.

By using the websites, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the websites.

For information about privacy, see the MiraPx Privacy Policy. It explains how MiraPx handles your personal data, including when you visit the websites or contact MiraPx by email.

Governing Law

These terms of service are governed by Finnish law (including the laws governing contracts, copyright, and liability) and applicable EU law. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Finland, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise. This provides the primary frame of reference for the terms of service described below.

These terms of service reflect MiraPx in its current state as a personal, non-commercial project operated by a Finnish natural person. MiraPx does not offer goods or services for payment or other financial benefit. Consumer protection law applies when a trader (legal term for someone offering goods or services commercially), serves a consumer (which has to be a natural person under consumer protection laws), in said capacity. The operator of MiraPx is not acting as a trader, so consumer protection laws do not apply to this agreement. (If the user is not a natural person, the agreement is between the operator as a natural person and the user as a legal person.)

Use of the Websites

You may access, view, and link to public pages for lawful purposes.

You must not misuse the websites, including by disrupting or overloading them, testing or bypassing security without permission, attempting unauthorized access, or using automated means in a way that interferes with their normal operation.

MiraPx may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the websites, enforce these terms, or comply with law.

Restricted pages may be used only by people expressly authorized by MiraPx and only within the scope of that authorization. Authorization is personal, must not be shared, and may be withdrawn at any time.

Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content, design, branding, and code created for MiraPx are owned by the operator and protected by applicable law. Materials owned by others remain subject to their own rights and licences.

You may use public pages as described above. Except as permitted by law or with prior written permission, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or otherwise exploit protected MiraPx materials.

You may not use the MiraPx name or branding in a way that falsely suggests affiliation, approval, or endorsement.

Work in Progress

The websites and their content are works in progress. They may be incomplete, outdated, changed without notice, or contain errors.

Statements about future plans, features, or release dates describe current intentions only. They may change and do not guarantee that anything will be released by a particular date or at all.

MiraPx may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the websites at any time. MiraPx does not promise that the websites will always be available, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

External Services and Links

The websites depend on services operated by others and may link to other websites. MiraPx does not control their availability, content, or practices.

A link does not imply approval or endorsement unless expressly stated.

Liability

MiraPx is not liable for any loss or damage arising from or related to the websites, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or otherwise, including loss or damage arising from reliance on incomplete or outdated content, inability to use the websites, security incidents, or services operated by others.

MiraPx does not exclude liability where applicable law does not permit it, or limit liability where applicable law does not permit it.

Severability

If any part of these terms of service is invalid or unenforceable, it will, where possible, be interpreted in the valid and enforceable way that most closely preserves its meaning and purpose. The rest of these terms remain in effect.

If MiraPx does not enforce any provision of these terms in a particular case, that does not waive the right to enforce that provision, or any other provision, in the future.

Transfer

The operator of MiraPx may at any time transfer any or all of its rights, obligations, and liabilities under these terms to another entity. The receiving entity assumes the transferred rights, obligations, and liabilities from the date of transfer. This right extends to any outstanding rights, obligations, and liabilities that arose under these terms, even if these terms have since been updated or replaced by a future version.

The user may not assign or transfer any rights under these terms, or delegate any obligations under them, to another person or entity without prior written permission from MiraPx. Any attempted assignment, transfer, or delegation without such permission has no effect.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Updated terms apply to use of the websites after they are published. They do not apply retroactively.

If a change to these terms is made elsewhere, such as in correspondence, it is valid only if it is in writing and states, expressly and without ambiguity, that it amends these terms of service and to what specific extent. Such amendments apply only within their stated scope and do not otherwise alter these terms.

Apart from such an above-stated express amendment to these specific terms of service, no communication from MiraPx, whether written, verbal, or implied, contradicts or overrides the current or any future version of these terms.
